Come to a Meeting

Anyone is welcome to attend the chapter meetings. People interested in learning more about our chapter, our projects, and EWB in general should come to a chapter meeting (or several). You need not be a member. This is a great opportunity to sample the work we do and meet the people involved. If you are involved for several months, you are encouraged to become a member. If you wish to travel on a project, you are required to be one.

Do I Need to Be an Engineer?

Not at all! There’s plenty of room for non-engineers in all aspects of our work. There are engineering components for sure, but they’re actually a fairly small slice of the overall project. Cultural, linguistic, health, and general labor skills are extremely helpful on all projects, sometimes more than the engineering. If you’re resourceful, motivated, and willing to help we have a place for you.
