Ecuador Program

Water System in Malingua Pamba, Ecuador
Our goal is to better the living conditions in Malingua Pamba through drinkable water, irrigation fro crops and erosion control.

Togo Program

Water and Sanitation in Agou Avedje, Togo
No community-wide basic wastewater disposal system is present in the village. There are at least two community latrines and one of them is no longer maintained while the other is maintained by in-country entity and funded by the school fees at the primary school.

Madagascar Program

Clean Water in Ambalona, Madagascar
The poor quality of the water has created many health issues including dysentery and diarrhea which have lead to dehydration and even death, especially in children. The women and children of Ambalona spend at least three hours each day collecting water in plastic buckets taking time from other responsibilities and, most importantly, school.

Get Involved

Come to a Meeting

Anyone is welcome to attend the chapter meetings. People interested in learning more about our chapter, our projects, and EWB in general should come to a chapter meeting (or several). You need not be a member. This is a great opportunity to sample the work we do and the people involved. If you are involved for several months, you are encouraged to become a member. If you wish to travel on a project, you are required to be one.

Join Online

To become a member, complete the EWB-USA membership form. You will then be an official member of EWB-USA, and of the Denver chapter. Thank you very much for your support!

Do I Need to Be an Engineer?

Not at all! There’s plenty of room for non-engineers in all aspects of our work. There are engineering components for sure, but they’re actually a fairly small slice of the overall project. Cultural, linguistic, health, and general labor skills are extremely helpful on all projects, sometimes more than the engineering. If you’re resourceful, motivated, and willing to help we have a place for you.

An Introduction to the EWB-USA Mentor Coordination Database

Take the first step to becoming an EWB-USA Professional Mentor! The EWB-USA Mentors Committee is working to build a database of professionals interested in assisting student chapters with their EWB-USA projects. Regional Mentor Coordinators and State Representatives will be reviewing the information provided by professionals to help match the skills of interested professionals with the mentoring needs of the student chapters. Please visit www.ewb-mentors.org to create an account and fill out a short survey to take the first step towards becoming an EWB-USA Professional Mentor!
