Engineers Without Borders – USA, Denver

The EWB-USA  Rocky Mountain Regional Workshop was hosted by the Denver Professional chapter in October.  One of five regional workshops hosted by EWB-USA , it was aimed to provide students and professionals a venue to talk about their projects and technology and to learn what other EWB-USA  members are doing in their region.  While it was only the second year for the event, almost 100 attendees from six states represented sixteen student and professional chapters.  The event was highlighted by an opening talk from Ned Breslin with Water For People sharing his 18 years of international experience.  The workshop also included networking stories and a networking panel session with several EWB-USA  members as well as poster presentations on specific projects and hands on examples of sustainable technology.  The events concluded with a touching video from Cathy Leslie, Executive Director of EWB-USA , showcasing the many projects EWB-USA  is participating in around the world.  EWB-Denver would like to thank all those who participated, and a special thanks to Candice Hein and Jim Root for making the workshop a success.
